TCAP to Host Family Fun Night

TCAP Head Start Family Fun Night is right around the corner!  Last year, we had over 100 people turn out and we are expecting more this time around. Family Fun Night will take place from 4-6 p.m., Thursday April 14 at the Warren West Community Center in the auditorium.

All Head Start families are invited to learn more about the educational services Head Start has to offer. Families will have the opportunity to learn how teachers work with their children and engage in fun, developmentally appropriate learning activities.

Children’s work will be displayed along with the key indicators from the Head Start Early Learning Framework, Kindergarten Readiness Assessment and Teaching Strategies Gold, so that parents can gain a better understanding of the kindergarten readiness skills children need to learn prior to entering school.

Included with all of the fun activity, special activities will be provided by the Warren Trumbull County Public Library, the Butler Institute of Art, and Ohio State University Extension. Raffles and door prizes along with refreshment to-go bags will be given to each family.
